We are delighted to show you how one of the projects we have been working on for some time is progressing. This is how well the facilities of the new Faculty of Health Sciences at Jaume I University (UJI) in Castellón are turning out.

From benches with tables and chairs designed for Higher Education, to our specialized laboratory line and our Actiflex collection, our university furniture is a constant in these facilities. In fact, we have equipped the laboratories and research spaces, the auditorium, and the teaching classrooms, as well as the restaurant and common areas.

Our Postura + chairs, and their rotating and height-adjustable stool version, are among the models selected for this project due to their durability and versatility.

In the case of Actiflex, their FG Plus backless chair and the SafeKnow desk preserve FG’s values of safety, mobility, and high resistance. These desks feature wheels and pull-handle shaped legs to minimize their noise impact, while the backless chairs are characterized by their versatility and stability.

The new Faculty of Health Sciences currently consists of three modules – with two more to be added soon – covering 12,000 square meters, and will be officially inaugurated next month. This year, the relocation of the Medicine and Nursing degrees to these facilities will take place, so that the 2018–2019 academic year will be taught in a complex that the UJI rector, Vicent Climent, has described as “very attractive from an architectural standpoint, a very open building, with a different design, that respects the environment and integrates perfectly into the campus."
