For over a century, most educational institutions in Spain have been equipped with furniture from a Valencian company. These are the classic green desks, the folding mesh chairs, or the movable-arm tables, exceptional furniture that has accompanied our education and been privileged witnesses to the growth of several generations in Spain. Our company, Federico Giner, has been the manufacturer of these products, and now we are creating a new corporate identity to face a phase full of challenges and opportunities in new educational spaces.
A complete renewal of our graphic communication with a new corporate identity, art direction, catalog editing, and even the revision of our traditional furniture with new finishes and colors.
“The new brand retains its essence and the experience of a century-old company, just as its products do. It also reflects its renewal and commitment to change in this new stage. To achieve this, we have not only developed a new corporate identity, but a complete communication campaign that tells this evolution, which is reflected in its art direction, stationery materials, catalogs, and social media communications.”
With a view to the future but without forgetting the past, the logo could not represent a total break. Therefore, the redesign of the corporate identity has involved modernizing the brand while keeping the pillars of the original one.
“We have worked with the same structure but with an update of the shapes. The strokes have been streamlined, the typography renewed, and the lines centered. We have relied on a new, much more contemporary color palette that evokes the school environment, with tones and textures characteristic of school materials.”
In this sense, the stationery materials are designed to convey the highest sensitivity, with micrometric textures that appeal to the school period and subtle colors that convey warmth.
