It has been a few months since we were affected by a completely new situation, difficult to assimilate, and which paralyzed the life of everyone overnight. A state of alarm that brought about the closure of schools, universities, and educational centers. COVID-19 has made us rethink education and the course of classes, not only during the lockdown but also after the state of alarm ended, creating many doubts and uncertainties regarding September, when classrooms will open their doors to the so-called “new normal.”
This is a return to classrooms faced with endless questions from the entire educational community. At FEDERICO GINER, we wanted to contribute our part to this situation by developing the #AULADELFUTURO Project. An initiative that aims to give a voice to the professionals in the educational community to listen to and understand, firsthand, what they think about how the “new normal” in classrooms should be, starting in September.
Through this project, which aims to be the beginning of other initiatives that also involve parents, mothers, and students, and through the so-called “Open Dialogues”, we have invited prominent figures in the educational field to join us in creating positive conversations that bring ideas to better understand where we should go. Open Dialogues where, from a constructive point of view, we can talk, discuss, ask, and resolve doubts in a simple, comfortable, and close way.
The first open dialogue took place on Tuesday, June 30, where we had the pleasure of listening to two prominent figures in the educational sector. On one hand, Franc Corbí, and on the other Clara Isabel García. With a great participation success, both speakers answered questions from our audience who wanted to share their opinions on the educational landscape that lies ahead from September.
Today, the second and final open dialogue is taking place. On this occasion, we will have Javier Bernabeu, Enrique Escandón, and Javier Bahón. If you’re interested in participating, there are still available spots. A deconfined coffee with each of them that promises to be exciting and very interesting. Don’t miss it!
But at FEDERICO GINER, we care deeply about the opinion of teachers and professors who are day in and day out dedicated to providing quality education. That’s why we also want to count on you to shape the future of classrooms in this “new normal,” learning what you think about a series of values and beliefs that the health crisis has stirred. For this, we have developed a simple and quick anonymous survey that you should have received, and we kindly ask you to fill it out so that we can draw interesting and hopeful conclusions to face the future in classrooms.
With the results of all this information, FG will develop a REPORT that will be available to you soon.
Stay tuned!
